Salman Qureshi was born in Lahore and obtained his early education from St. Anthony's High School, Lawrence Road, Lahore. When his father moved to Bahawalpur in 1981; he joined Sadiq Public School, Bahawalpur. He later graduated from Sadiq Ejerton College Bahawalpur before proceeding to Switzerland to graduate in Hotel Management. He later worked in different European countries before returning to Pakistan. He completed his M.B.A and worked in top hotel chains such as Quetta Serena, Pearl Continental Karachi and 'Host'Marriott, Karachi at top management positions. Later he moved to U.A.E and ran a fine dining restaurant. He later came back to Pakistan and eventually joined The Islamia University of Bahawalpur as Deputy Registrar (Hostels). He also owns T.D.C.P - Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management, Bahawalpur and Behani English Model School, Khairpur Tamewali.
